BlackBerry Pearl 8110 Launched by Vodafone
The new BlackBerry Pearl 8110 Smartphone was launched by Vodafone UK and Research in Motion with the Sat Nav 3D mapping application.
It is a phone equipped with GPS, a built-in 2MP camera with 5x digital zoom and flash, e-mail, Internet browsing, music/video player, organizer, video sharing in 240×180 or 176×144 dimensions, support for microSD/SHDC 8GB cards, the SureType keyboard for easy editing and spellchecker, all these in a small and elegant form factor.
“The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 Smartphone is designed for people who want business grade functionality along with advanced multimedia capabilities in a small and stylish package,” said Charmaine Eggberry, Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA at Research In Motion. “The addition of built-in GPS along with Vodafone Sat Nav takes the experience a step further by helping you find your way.”
