Cell Phone Sim Card Spy can read deleted text messages; Turns you into a stalker
First of all, it's important to note we're all about privacy and we think you shouldn't use portable SIM card readers to spy on others. Still, some people may opt in and start spying on their loved ones — spouses, parents and/or kids. We do argue they should stop doing so, but in just in case they want to continue doing "their thing," here's a tiny gadget that can take their "surveillance" one step further.
BrickHouse Security is selling the portable SIM card reader called Cell Phone Sim Card Spy, which allows users to retrieve all the information from a SIM card, including last numbers dialed and deleted text messages. In addition, it also comes with some really useful features like backup of all data, parental control (only certain phone numbers are permitted), SIM phone book editing, transfer of data from one SIM card to another SIM card, and more.

LG Iron Man Phone in 18-Karat Gold
LG Electronics today unveiled the LG Iron Man phone, a 18-karat gold slider modeled after the LG Shine. The Iron Man phone will not be sold in stores.
Prior to the film's May 2, 2008 release date, LG will unveil advertising, as well as retail, online and consumer electronics industry initiatives to showcase the company's devices.
"In today's fast-paced world, cell phones often perform heroic feats when it comes to connecting consumers with friends and family, solving business problems and staying current with up-to-the-minute news and entertainment," said Rabbani. "'Iron Man' lead character, Tony Stark, embodies what LG is all about by pushing technology boundaries and insisting on having the most innovative and advanced gadgets, including his mobile phone."

New Diamond Cell Phone from Tiffany
Luxury cell phones are not a new thing anymore, but they keep on appearing to satisfy the fashion needs of those who have larger bank accounts. SoftBank, a leading Japanese mobile carrier,partnered with Tiffany Japan to bring such a phone, that will be sold for 10 million Japanese Yens, meaning about $93,600. It cannot compete against the world's most expensive phone, Goldvish Le Million, which costs more than 1 million USD, but it's still a terribly expensive device.
The handset comes encrusted in no less than 400 diamonds, totaling a bit over 20 carats, and will be available starting this month, most probably before Valentine's Day, to make an extravagant gift.
There aren't many technical details about the Tiffany handset, except the fact that it's a 3G device. However, judging by the specs the other SoftBank phones announced for 2008 have, this diamonded clamshell might pack a good photo camera and even Mobile TV features.
The real manufacturer of the phone is unknown for the moment, but it sure isn't Tiffany, known mainly for being one of the most respectable US jewelry brands. It's hard to believe they have a secret cell phone division, so it is more likely that they only worked on the handset's luxurious cover. Most probably, as the phone seems to be a clamshell resembling the majority of the phones released in Japan (except the diamonds, of course), the non-jewelry part was created by a Japanese producer. So it could be a Sharp, Toshiba, NEC, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Sanyo or Hitachi. Hard to tell.
The new Tiffany phone is available only from SoftBank starting February, as a limited number edition, so the Japanese men who want to offer their lovers a flower and hundreds of diamonds on a phone should quickly pay a visit to their bank for a small withdrawal.

Samsung 8MP Cellphone Module is World's Slimmest
Good news for those who rely on their cellphones for their photo- taking needs; Samsung has just unveiled the world's slimmest 8MP CMOS, which measures a diminutive, 28mm × 15.3mm × 8.5mm. The semiconductor was designed specifically for cellphones, and it will push handsets beyond their current 5MP restraints. [Ed: 5MP as the limit in slimmer phones.] The new module, which is 10% more compact than current solutions, will have an ISO 1600 sensitivity, anti-shake capability, face detection technology, 1-cm macro and an automated shoot mode that is activated by silly, smiling faces.We're guessing the technology for the smile shutter is what we have seen previously in some of the Cyber-shot range. All in all, it's great news for high end photography on your cellphone and as the advanced CMOS sensors will go into mass production in Q3/4 this year, we won't have to wait too long either.

Social.FM coming soon to your cellphone
Social.FM will be coming to your cellphone; similar to Last.FM, in that it offers a streaming genre-specific radio service, Social.FM also gives access to a user’s own digital music collection and a social network with buddy-list music playback. Available for Symbian and Windows Mobile handsets, the service requires a 3G or WiFi connection.
HandMark has contracts with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Orange and Telus in the US, Canada, UK, Austria, Germany and Netherlands; it will be preinstalled on handsets as well as released as an over-the-air download. The first releases should be seen within the next quarter.

Nec Flask Cell Phone Is Pure Liquid Gold
The NEC Flask which will be released sometime in 2008, it is powered by a liquid fuel cell that disappears as power is drained away.
The handset features a touchscreen display and what appears to be valve to potentially recharge the handset once the fuel has all been used.There are no other details as of now or even how they plan on refilling the fuel, just these pics from the NEC’s Website which feature very hot colors(special for women?).
