AT&T LG Nitro HD now on sale price $249.99
The new AT&T LG Nitro HD LTE Android phone is now on sale for $249.99 with a new two-year contract. Really nice phone with a really nice display. The Nitro HD screen is gorgeous! I’d be interested to hear the battery life that tech blogs in their review. One thing that I like about AT&T, as of late, is they announce a phone and then it comes out about a week later. They did the same with the SGSII Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid. I hope they continue.
The AT&T LG Nitro HD cell phone features include a 4.5-inch HD (1,280 x 720) IPS display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm APQ8060 CPU, an 8MP camera capable of recording HD video with a 1.3MP front-facing cam, LTE and HSPA+ connectivity, Wi-Fi Direct, 4GB of on-board storage, a 16GB microSD card, 1830mAh battery, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. It will upgrade Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

The main attention is attracted to the model of the moment, of course, is a transparent glass-like keyboard, but this isn’t all. As KM900 Arena, this phone has a 3″ touch screen with a WVGA-resolution (480×800) and the user interface of S-Class. In addition, the display supports a number of gestures - for example, M letter on screen will launch the player, depicting a range, you can adjust the volume of sound.

LG GB210, a cheap cell phone

The latest music-centric candybar announced by LG is the GB210, a phone that is expected to become available in sometimes in the future in Ukraine. Or at least this is what the South Korean company said about the GB210.
Even if it’s quite simple, the handset comes with enough features in order for the customers to consider it perfect for a music session. On one hand, the GB210 is equipped with a speaker that is expected to provide a very good quality sound. On the other hand, it is compatible with different types of files types, such as MP3, AAC, AAC+, MPEG4 and H.263.

Now, if you’re anxious to have a GB210 of your own, you should be able to purchase it (if you’re a Ukrainian) starting May (the earliest) and it’s expected to retail for a price of only 950 UAH (which means 90 Euros or $120). As far as the release of the phone in other markets, the information is still unknown.

KT770, a Symbian S60-based LG slider cell phone

The novelty consists of the fact that the KT770 is equipped with the Symbian S60 3rd edition, compared to the other two smartphones I mentioned above which run on the Microsoft Windows Mobile. This is a little bit surprising for an LG product, because the Symbian operating system isn’t available on many devices.
There is a special LG website dedicated to the MWC, which is a little bit difficult to use, if I may say so, where you can find the details you’d like to know about the devices the South Korean company prepared for the event.
In the given context, as far as the features are concerned, the KT770 comes equipped with: quad band GSM/EDGE connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), dual band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity (850/2100 MHz or 900/2100 MHz), a 2.8 inch TFT WQVGA display with a resolution of 240x400 pixels and 256k colors, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, facial recognition, smile shot and panorama shot, an integrated assisted GPS, Wi-Fi connectivity, full Internet browser, an internal memory of 1GB/2GB and microSD card slot for expandable memory of no more than 16GB. The new LG slider cell phone measures 111x51.5x15.8 millimeters.
The point is the phone looks quite good, but we hope that the price won’t be too high. As far as the availability is concerned, the LG KT770 is expected to start selling in the next couple of months.

LG is launching new affordable cell phones

LG has released, without creating too much of a stir, a new affordable clamshell, the LG KP152. Don’t hurry up to go grab the device, because for the moment the handset is apparently available only on the LG Brazil website, but rumors say that it will be released in Europe too, in Russia for the beginning, starting this month.
You have to admit that the phone is unbelievably appealing, despite it quite simple design. LG KP152 is surely an elegant device, but unfortunately its features are not at all ones to crave for. The phone might represent the beginning of LG’s new campaign to conquer emerging markets with basic devices, similar to what Nokia is doing with their recent introduction of affordable cell phones and innovative devices specifically for people in emerging markets.
Therefore, the features and capabilities are more than weak, there’s no doubt about it. Among the main specs of LG KP152 are included: a tri band GSM/GPRS connectivity, FM radio, VGA photo camera, a TFT display with 65k colors (its resolution is not known) and a 800mAh Li-Ion battery. So, if you’re one of those guys who are hunting the latest in technology, there’s no way for you to ever buy this.

Still you’ll remember the device, as it measures 88 x 47 x 17.3 millimeters and weighs only 80 grams. It’s rather uncertain what amazes the most, the low price or the way these measurements have been combined. On the other hand, the phone provides up to 3.5 hours of talk time and up to 350 hours of stand-by time.
Rumors say that LG KP152 will be the first in a long line of such phones, designed and developed to conquer emerging markets with cheaper and simpler devices and this approach might be the result of a survival plan the company came up with, in order to make it through the dark financial world crisis.
As I said before, unfortunately, this phone is available only in Brazil for the moment, but it is expected to arrive in Europe as well, probably in Russia at first, and it will most likely be available in two colors: red and black, with a retail price of somewhere around $100.

LG Launches LG-KC780 Slim 8 Megapixel Slider Phone, Available in November

Several of the LG-KC780’s smart technologies focus around the most expressive part of a person, the face. Face Detection automatically finds and focuses on people’s faces to allow photographers to take clearer pictures. Part of this feature relies on LG’s Smile Detection technology, which can recognize the angle of people’s mouths and adjust focus for faces. With Smile Shot enabled the camera automatically triggers the shutter when it determines that the subject is smiling. And with Beauty Mode users can remove spots and imperfections on people’s faces, making sure the faces appear bright and clear in photos. If an image is too bright, however, LG’s SmartLight setting automatically fixes it. A built-in Image Stabilizer ensures that pictures come out clear and sharp, even in shaky situations.

Unlike other 8 megapixel camera phone who are always packed with lots of wireless connectivity options, The LG KC780 should have a lower price as it comes without 3G, built in WiFi and GPS. LG-KC780 will go on sale in November 2008, in Europe, later expanding to CIS and Asia, including India, Thailand, Hong Kong and China. LG expects that the LG-KC780 will build on the leadership the company established with its multimillion selling Viewty and enhance its lineup of 8 megapixel camera phones, along with the recently released an 8 megapixel touch screen multimedia phone, LG Renoir (LG-KC910).

LG KC780 Wants to Be the Thinnest 8 MP Slide Phone

Here is what we have recently found out about this phone.
First of all, the LG KC780 has been officially confirmed, and is expected to be launched soon, since it seems that press photos of the phone have already surfaced on the Internet. As noted above, most of the specs of this device are unknown at the moment, but one detail that got leaked is that it is touted by LG as the slimmest 8 megapixel phone to date. This means that users can expect, in terms of size, less than the 13.8mm record that Samsung M8800 Pixon is currently holding. But we'll just have to wait and see about that.
Some of the expected features of LG KC780 are quad band GSM support and EDGE connectivity. No 3G on this one, it seems. It also has support for a microSD card, and 140 MB of internal memory, so the card is going to be a genuine blessing for all the photo fans. Also, the phone features USB 2.0 connectivity, along with Bluetooth 2.0. The camera will be an 8 megapixel one with autofocus, red eye reduction, face recognition and 30fps video recording capabilities, or so it is believed.
Until more information on this LG phone comes our way, we'll leave you with the photo of the upcoming device, hoping that we'll be able to soon provide all the specs, a release date and a price.
