Sony Ericsson Radio Phones
Two new cell phones with radio function were just released by Sony Ericsson with AM/FM combination and these are: Sony Ericsson R300 and R306.
India hosted the launching of the two new entry-level cell phones with radio-inspired design and two shaped available: a candy bar and a clamshell.
The TrackID lets you find out who sings the songs you recorded in a coffee shop and the track name plus the album title, and all this with only one click.
Let’s see them both on the inside.
The R300 uses a loud mono speaker, integrates a 0.3MP VGA camera, supports WAP 2.0 and Xhtml, is compatible with MP3/AAC file formats, has Bluetooth, USB mass storage capability, has only a main 1.8-inch screen with 65,536 colors and 128 x 160 pixels, and comes in two versions: R300 with GPRS 900/1800/1900 and R300a with GPRS 850/1800/1900 support.
The colors available are Antique Copper and Steel Black. It lets you operate it for up to 7 hours listen to the radio for up to 27 hours.
On the other hand, the R306 has several pluses such as stereo speakers, a 1.3MP camera with 4x digital zoom and video recording, video viewing, 3D games, a monochrome secondary display, a little bit larger main screen of 1.9 inches, 5MB of phone memory, 9 hours of battery life in normal working time, and Champagne White/Coffee Black color options.
R300 will be available in Q2 and R306 in Q3 2008.
