Motorola’s worldly Q9: “Napoleon” breaks cover for Verizon

Motorola’s worldly Q9: “Napoleon” breaks cover for Verizon
Verizon will be introducing a third variety in their Q9 lineup, and as of now its being code named “Napoleon.” The successor of the Q9 line is a hybrid that works in CDMA or any GSM network (as it is quad-band).The Motorola Q9 with full GSM world roaming capabilities including the U.S. 850MHz/1900MHz bands, which makes the new Q9 operational about anywhere in the world, thus business users who travel a lot will find it quite attractive.

It has similar design to the previous model with landscape display and full QWERTY in four rows. The Napoleon comes with chromed margins and a pretty nice dark-blue QWERTY keyboard – both worthy of a king’s name.
It will run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard edition, feature WiFi, 2-megapixel camera, fingerprint sensor (for locking the device and security reasons) and stereo speakers. Specs on the phone include EV-DO Rev. A, quad-band EDGE, 2 megapixel camera with flash, stereo speakers, 320×240 resolution screen, WiFi, and a 1500mAh battery. As of now, no pricing or release information has been let loose
