Samsung Reveals Yet Another 8MP Camera Phone

The handset looks like it's an upgrade to the Omnia with a similar 3.2-inch touch screen display incorporating a 240 x 400 pixel resolution. However, other reports mention that the M8800 will be running on Samsung's proprietary OS and not Windows Mobile. Other features include 3G with HSDPA, EDGE, Bluetooth with A2DP and of course USB connectivity. It will also feature built-in GPS functionality and automatic screen rotation, microSD card support for external memory (no word on internal memory yet), a media player with DivX support for video and an FM radio.
Apparently this handset will also have handwriting recognition. Does this mean it will have a stylus? We'll have to wait and see.

There’s no official word on a release date and hence no official pricing, but some reports are saying it could be out by November with an approximate price of about Rs. 37,000 ($800).
