When it comes to freeing your iPhone or iPhone 3G from Apple’s iron-fisted rule, Windows users typically get the short-end of the jailbreak-stick. Over the past couple years, Mac machines have had the honor of getting first crack at iPhone jailbreak solutions, with Windows machines taking at least a couple weeks to catch up. We’d love to tell you that times have changed, but then we’d be lying.

Still, it’s good to see the iPhone Dev Team bringing their latest iPhone OS jailbreak tool to Windows machines around the world. If access to your iPhone’s filesystem is something you

consider important, or you just want to make sure that you’ll be able to unlock your iPhone 3G if/when the iPhone Dev Team releases their unlock solution, you’ll want to get your iPhone 3G nice and “pwned.” QuickPwn 2.1 is now live!
