Supporting the 3G HSDPA 2100 connectivity technology the new Samsung L770 is a high-speed mobile phone enabling data transfer rates of up to 3.6Mbps, which is important when you need to download cool music and games from the Internet or just check the latest news on your favorite websites.
This cell phone was announced back in February and released in July, in a slider design with rounded edges, characteristic to Samsung models, measuring 102 x 48 x 14.2 mm at a weight of 84 grams.
Its display is a 2.1-inch TFT of 256K colors and a resolution of 240 x 320pixels. The handset comes with different capabilities including MP3 player, 1000 entries in the phone book, 30MB internal memory expandable via an external microSD card slot, Bluetooth wireless connectivity with A2DP, USB 2.0 for PC connectivity, email, RSS reader, Xhtml web browser, and a built-in 2MP camera.
The digital camera captures still images at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and has video recording capability and flash light. There is a secondary CIF camera for video calls.
In addition, Samsung L770 supports Java, Blog function, document viewer for the Office suite, FM radio with RDS for displaying radio station information as well as track and artist details, picture editing, and organizer. With the PictBridge feature you can use it to print your documents or pictures while connected to a compatible printer device.
A standard 800 mAh Li-Ion battery allows the user to talk on the phone for up to 200 hours or leave the handset in standby mode up to 5 days.
