Kyocera TNT
This new addition to Virgin Mobile USA cell phones line comes from Kyocera Wireless and will be available starting August 20 with basic communication functionalities, at an affordable price of just $20 with a cheap cell phone service and no annual contract.
"At Virgin Mobile USA we are committed to giving our customers value, service and choice they can't find anywhere else,” said Matias Monges, Virgin Mobile USA's director of mobile devices. “The TNT! is a perfect embodiment of that philosophy, and shows that we can deliver it all - from robust gear like the Wild Card from Kyocera to less expensive devices that still excel at getting the job done with style."
Kyocera TNT! Is a small flip phone measuring 3.5 x 1.8 x 0.6 inches at 3 ounces, sporting an external monochrome display that shows who’s calling by revealing the caller ID. Inside it has pre-installed games but you can also download animated and Real Music ringtones.
On the main screen of 65K colors you can browse through menus and applications using a user-friendly interface and with the Virgin XL you get access to games, music and wallpapers for a small charge per day.
The cell phone model provides up to 200 minutes of talk time and no less than 5 days of standby, while in addition it features speakerphone, and simple web access.
"When it comes to style, features and performance, people are getting more than their money's worth with the TNT!" said Tom Maguire, divisional vice president of global marketing at Kyocera Wireless. "Virgin Mobile USA's commitment to providing its customers incredible value extends beyond just its service plans and into its handset lineup as well. The TNT! is the latest in a long line of Kyocera phones at Virgin Mobile that deliver on this promise."
It is a low-cost entry-level handset available with a cheap cell phone service, meant to assist you in communicating with the others and that’s all. There is no Bluetooth, no built-in digital camera nor music player.
