LG GB210, a cheap cell phone
This is what people need right now: affordable cell phones, targeted at budget conscious human beings that don’t want to waste great amounts of money on devices that are supposed to be used only for receiving and making calls.
The latest music-centric candybar announced by LG is the GB210, a phone that is expected to become available in sometimes in the future in Ukraine. Or at least this is what the South Korean company said about the GB210.
Even if it’s quite simple, the handset comes with enough features in order for the customers to consider it perfect for a music session. On one hand, the GB210 is equipped with a speaker that is expected to provide a very good quality sound. On the other hand, it is compatible with different types of files types, such as MP3, AAC, AAC+, MPEG4 and H.263.
The low-end cell phone comes with the following features: dual band GSM connectivity (900/1800 MHz) with GPRS, a 1.77 inches TFT display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, Bluetooth connectivity, WAP 2.0, an internal memory of 4MB and microSD card slot for expandable memory of no more than 4GB. As for the dimensions, it measures 106.2 x 46 x 13.8 millimeters.
Now, if you’re anxious to have a GB210 of your own, you should be able to purchase it (if you’re a Ukrainian) starting May (the earliest) and it’s expected to retail for a price of only 950 UAH (which means 90 Euros or $120). As far as the release of the phone in other markets, the information is still unknown.
