Nokia E63 Unveiled, Similar to E71 But Price Lower
Building on the Nokia E71 messaging phone, Nokia introduces the Nokia E63 today and will begin shipping in the coming weeks for an estimated retail price of EUR 199, before taxes and subsidies. The Nokia E63 will do EDGE/WiFi connection and comes without HSDPA connection and GPS. With a lower price it also uses a 2 megapixel camera module with fixed focusing. The phone will be available in ruby red and ultramarine blue colors.

The Nokia E63 also has the ability to switch modes with a single key press, switching from a view of corporate mail, appointments and intranet data, to a personal mode with a picture of friends, personal email and shortcuts to favorite hobby blogs or websites. Instead of the 2.5mm headset jack on Nokia E71, Nokia E63 is using the standard 3.5mm headset jack for music lover.“The Nokia E63 is a new proposition for Eseries - a messaging device where people will be just as involved in their social network as they are in their business network,” says Soren Petersen, Senior Vice President, Nokia.
