Zagat Survey and Handmark Launch Zagat To Go for iPhone
Zagat Survey and Handmark today announced the release of ZAGAT TO GO for iPhone and iPod touch users. The new application gives users access to Zagat’s ratings and reviews for over 40,000 restaurants, hotels, nightspots and shops in over 100 countries. It is immediately available through the Apple App Store for a one time special price of $9.99 ($29.99 value).
Besides the Zagat ratings and reviews, there are photos, menus, Google maps, click to call capabilities and functionality that allows users to make instant restaurant reservations. Users can easily search out establishments around the world using GPS (where available), current address, intersection coordinates, or postal codes (US).
“Just in time for holiday travel, ZAGAT TO GO ‘09 for iPhone gives consumers accurate, useful information wherever they may be,” said Tim Zagat, CEO of Zagat Survey. “Our photos and maps look especially sleek on the iPhone, which is this year’s most coveted accessory.”
