The BlackBerry Curve 8900, one of the most awaited phones, is finally here, but only via T-Mobile Germany, at least for now. We haven't had any new news on it since the first bits of information came out sometime last month, but now it has been officially released, even if only for the Germans to enjoy.

The Curve 8900, also known as the Javelin, seems to have “suffered” several modifications and improvements, we might as well call them. One of the things that is a bit strange, considering its history, is that, now, it comes equipped with Wi-Fi and GPS. Also here, we notice the 2.4-inch TFT display (480x360) and the 3 Megapixel autofocus camera, thus normally coming to the conclusion that the manufacturers have put extra effort into really pleasing their clients this time.

By creating this device, the manufacturers succeed in coming up with a balanced phone, as it is small but, at the same, time big enough to feel it in your pocket if you want to. Also, the full QWERTY keyboard goes perfectly with this BlackBerry, while the buttons are not too small, since we all know how annoying that can be, and very well placed in order to be reached every time.

Another thing worth mentioning is that it stands at only 13.5mm, and that's very impressive for a full QWERTY keyboard phone. Moreover, given that it seems to be better than other BlackBerry mobiles available, it is very likely it will catch on really fast.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is going to be available very soon from T-Mobile Germany, for a price of 360 Euros with no contract and a 4.95 one-time charge with the 24-month contract. As a holiday sale, clients purchasing this phone until December 31 on contract will get six months of free T-Mobile push email service.
