Nokia Home Music is now available
December 2nd 2008 seems to be a very good day for Nokia, as it has just announced three new original accessories that are meant to improve in a way that you wouldn’t have imagined your everyday mobile experience. After announcing the Nokia N97, a multimedia computer, and a service that is focused on email and instant messaging, called Nokia Messaging, there’s a press bulletin board on the company’s official website that brings in the spotlight three new accessories: a home music device, a broadband modem and a power solution.
The Nokia Home Music is obviously a music device and provides the user with Internet radio, podcasts and FM radio. It’s all at your fingertip! If you want to listen to your favorite music collection ever, than the only thing you have to do is to just connect Nokia Home Music to a compatible device, such as a digital music player, a mobile phone or PC. In addition, you can also use Nokia Home Music with a home stereo system that is compatible with the new device. If you’re interested in finding out some additional information, you can always visit the product’s official page on Nokia’s website.
The second accessory is the Nokia Internet Stick CS-10, a broadband modem, as I said it before, which simplifies your access to the Internet, whether you’re using a PC or a Mac, regardless the hotspots and WLAN. Using the brand new modem you can enhance your Internet mobile experience, browsing the Web, checking email, sending and receiving text messages through a PC. The only thing you should do is to plug it into the USB port of a laptop and then connect to the high-speed mobile network. A very important requirement is the active SIM card provided with data option enabled.
Last, but not least, there’s a device aimed at all of those who are frequently using their mobile phones and that “extends the power of mobile devices anytime, anywhere”. Released under the name of Extra Power DC-11, the device is an alternative source of power, provided with two separate charging connectors. This way, users are allowed to charge up to two devices in the same time. The Nokia Extra Power DC-11 works with devices that are equipped with a microUSB or Nokia 2mm charging interface.
There is no word yet about the price and availability of these new Nokia accessories.
