Samsung SCH W690 with AMOLED display and GPS announced in Korea
Samsung Mobile announced its new clamshell phone Samsung SCH-W690, which will soon be available through the South Korean operator SK Telecom.Samsung W690 will be sold in two colors - white and black. Due to the large buttons, keypad of the device looks very comfortable.
But the biggest advantage of this phone is considered 2,6″ AMOLED-display that supports resolution up to 240×320 pixels and 262 000 colors, and a GPS-receiver. Such a display has Nokia N85, only the Finnish company’s smartphone screen displays 16 million colors.
Samsung SCH W690 is equipped with 2 Mp CMOS-camera, has a FM-Tuner, MP3-player and Bluetooth.
This device is designed to work in networks of operator SK Telecom, but supports GSM/HSDPA.This makes us assume that sometime Samsung W690 will be available outside South Korea.
