Therefore, the latest Nokia masterpiece, part of the Arte lineup, is the Nokia 8800 Gold Arte which made its appearance on the official website of the company without the adequate fuss that such a cell phone would usually arouse. The successor of the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte is as functional as the previous device, but this isn’t everything, as you must already imagine.

Being a luxury cell phone, the Gold Arte distinguishes itself between other similar Arte phones by its 18-carat gold and white high-quality leather outfit, which is pretty spectacular. This means that the latest Nokia proposal is a mid-end slider that is combined with a luxurious design, for those who have exquisite tastes.

There’s nothing else inside this phone besides the heritage from the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte. Thus, the features of the Gold Arte include: a tri-band GSM (900 / 1800 / 1900) and WCDMA 2100 connectivity, a 2 inch OLED display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and 16 million colors, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity with EDR, a 3.2 megapixel camera equipped with autofocus, USB 2.0 and an internal memory of 4GB. Unfortunately, there is no memory card support for expandable memory.The Gold Arte features the Series 40 5th edition interface, Feature Pack 1 and the Opera Mini for web browsing. Weighing 150 grams and measuring 109 x 45.6 x 14.6 millimeters, the Gold Arte is equipped with a BL-4U 3.7V 1000 mAh battery that provides 3.3 hours of GSM talk time, 2.75 hours of WCDMA talk time, 300 hours of GSM stand-by time, as well as for the WCDMA.
